The DWS wheel set is designed for transport operations on rails, including applications that involve heavier loads. It can be used to create complete travel units, available in both driven and non-driven versions. These units are equipped with offset and angular geared motors from our modular industrial drive system.

The DWS wheel set can be installed in hollow profile sections and used as a corner-bearing travel unit, making it a flexible solution for many rail-based transport systems.

Easy track gauge adjustment using interchangeable distance washers placed between the anti-friction bearings and retaining rings
Quick installation and removal of the travel wheel from the travel unit with standard tools
Long service life thanks to the built-in standard re-lubrication facility
Perfectly matched with Demag offset or angular geared motors using the appropriate torque bracket for reliable performance

Flange wear indicator provided on travel wheels with flanges for easy inspection
Flange bearings designed with recesses to allow simple attachment of extractors
Option available without flange bearings for direct mounting to a prepared superstructure
Engineering support tools available, including CAD files in multiple formats through the web-based planning platform
